the Rolls tomorrow

the Rolls (Hillsborough GC) have a 50 bird sportin tomorrow, it
should be a good shoot as they make a great effort to make it
fair for everyone, everyone's welcome & there will be a chippy
van too so come along for the craic and enjoy some clay shootin

right people just to let you know Ian forgot our guns the other
day when we were out with dc but in sayin that he didn't even
know that we'd left them with him form safe keepin til I told
him :D :D
Sorry Don I only got seein your post just now, the only new face
I saw today was drivin a red beemer - was that you ?
and just for the record to let all you doubter's out there know
Ian didn't beat me today -- he tied with me on 42/50 which I
think got us joint 2nd in C class ;D
Monty yes that were the Rolls is alright, just up on top of the
hill were it always was -- Banbridge is on nest week if anyone
wants to join us for the craic ?

Is is sporting at hillsborough and ban bridge?
What,s the typical set up at hillsborough if it is sporting?
Spring n teal? What else? How we're the entrance fees compared
to other places?

it turns out we were ousted into joint 3rd :'( but at least
he didn't beat me today ;D
yeah we only shoot Sportin & Fitasc, there are only a handful of
Fitasc shoots all year as it takes so much work to set them up &
run, the Rolls & BB run really good Sportin shoots that everyone
can enjoy these days although this wasn't the story a couple of
years ago, I was at one shoot at it were only one mad broke
40/50 - it was so hard most people went home after one card shot
but now it's a different story around the shoots, these days
anyone from a new shooter to the well experienced shooter can
turn up and find somethin that will not bring tears to his eyes
(well maybe with the exceptions of brendy ;)) I think they
have finally realised that no matter how hard or easy a shoot is
there will always be a winner so why punnish everyone just for a
select few who think they're above shootin (in my words) shooter
friendly shoots.
I would encourage everyone to come along to Banbridge next
Saturday who can make it as its the last 50 bird shoot for about
4/5 months as the registered 100 bird comps start at the end of
this month. the entry fee's for 50 birds is £9 and there's prize
money paid outta that, there's usually 100 + entries every week
although I thought the numbers were down a little today.

Any conditions on the shoot at ban bridge, semi? Lead or steel?
Plastic or fibre wads? i was looking the club up on the web but
I can,t remember now what it said!
