snow suit
DIR By: duck caller
Date: January 23, 2013, 8:30 am
---------------------------------------------------------
i went out this morning for a few pigeons after spotting them
feeding on a cabbage field yesterday,so i decided to try my new
snow suit out ,all i did was just sit down along the drills of
cabbage and with a wee bit of fog this morning was great the
bird came in lovely ,i fired 16 cartridges with only 4 pigeons 2
crows down not too impressed with my shooting lol
the suit looks ok from a distance as the farmer says he could
not see me till he was about 30 meters and i started to move
after about a hour the farmer came into the field driving over
to see me ,he chatted for about 10 minutes then told me geese
were in a stubble field behind is old yard i quickly packed away
and went over ,
i parked in his yard and loaded the semiauto sneaking around the
corner to watch them ,,i could not see them from were i was so
got behind a hedge and walked along for about 300 meters
stopping every so often to look over the hedge ,i was starting
to get annoyed in not finding then and came up with he idea that
i ll go in to the field at the next gate and look around for
were they had been feeding hoping to get a morning arranged for
a few people decoying them ,i passes the gun through the gate
before climbing it and you guested it they were feeding in a
small hollow in the field less than 20 meters from the gate i
quickly grabbed for the gun and after 3 shots fired at them i
got 4 greylay
i had not seen them and was more reflex shooting the first 2
shots accounting for 3 before picking the 4th bird with my last
cartridge
more than pleased with my self i got them all to gether then the
hard work began carrying them back to the motor lets just say i
was fu@ked when i got there

Fantastic, very well done indeed. I can only imagine the weight
of 4 geese, I'd say your arms knew exactly how heavy they were.
As semi said you'll never forget that.
