subs. The federals are good value and fairly consistent if you
aren't using a moderator although my prob is i shoot with a mod
and bought the federals for target practice and now have a pile
of ammo on fac and have to be careful every time I go to buy a
       batch of subs.

What does 'having a pile of ammo on fac' mean?

Devil ur right Maryland told me he could do me high impacts for
£25 I ask about the subs first 1000 of the he said £25 for 1000
hi impact , not sure if he made a mistake with the 1000 but that
why I asked on hear as it was a massive price difference from
the subsonics.. He said the hi impact do some damage drop
anything on the spot lol but not as quiet as the subs ::)

I'm assuming 'high impact' is just another reference to high
velocity? £25 for 1000 rounds of any type of rimfire ammo sounds
       too cheap.

yea high impact and high velocity are the same. The federal are
       copper bullets.
By to much ammo on fac i am more so relating to the amount of
ammo in the cabinet. As I (and I'm sure most are the same) can
only legally hold 1000 rounds so if you have a box of 500 plus
in the safe that you don't use every day you have to be careful
when trying to buy as many of a batch of subs as you can so as
not to go over the legal limit. Hope that makes a small amount
       of sense.
I looked my box and the price was on the bit you tear to open
the box so its gone. There was 525 rounds in the box but I don't
think was as much as £25. maybe £22 or so but again might have
       changed.

I know that Beatties in Ballycarry has both Federal and American
Eagle bulk packs in stock at the minute, but I am unsure of the
price. Will be heading up there within the next couple of weeks
to pick up a few things so I'll check prices out then. Jim
Higgins down at Loughview is sitting on loads of Winchester HV
rounds at the minute. Pretty sure he's offering them for around
the £30 mark for 500. I bought 200 of them and found them to be
dead on for plinking, even though the heads seemed a bit loose
on the rounds. Didn't seem to matter though.

1000 for £25 ?? Must be a mistake, if not I'm going to buy some
       !! That seriously cheap
Tell me this, why are subs more expensive than "ordinary" rounds
sine they have less powder in them ? Or is it all about the
supply and demand market ?? Everyone wants subs for less noise ?

I think it's because subs are lead rounds which is dearer than
the alternative metal!! I might be wrong but that was my
       thought!!
