Ye well i didnt the cabinet was stolen! Im with Coutryside
Alliance Ireland, and i heard they were crap too, i actually
heard SACS where the best, although that doesnt fit with your
reports of them??!

no mate mines was a totaly different situation , all im saying
is SACS bum and blow about the 100k legal fees they offer you
and you go away thinking good if the psni ever revoke my FAC at
least SACS will take it all the way to court and fight it and we
can go all the way with the 100 grand legal fee, well as i say
what they dont tell you is the insurance people who pay out to
foot your legal bill get a update on your case every stage of
the way and as soon as your case falls below 50% chance of
winning then thats it your snookerd, now i know a man who got 4
guns stole from a unlocked gun cabinet and it took over a year
but he got his FAC back again although he had to install alarms,
cctv etc, ive knowen men who have lost their FACS cos of threats
to kill ie to shoot the wife and a few have got theres back
again, i also know a CONVICTED TERRORIST WHO DID TIME IN JAIL
FOR TERRORISM who had his FAC revoked and had his guns back
within 30 days on appeal ??? so it mite be a bit of light at
the end of the tunnell for you if case"s like this are
overturned so hopefuly you will get your guns back, and as
sum1 else said you can still legally use a shotgun as long as
your with a FAC holder on land you have the shooting rights to
be on

Thanks for that mate, ye its seems some people have more rights
than others i had mine in a gun cabinet but it wasnt secured to
the wall, i will fight this all the way, and keep u updated!

Hi mate I asked on the other shooting forum they suggested the
same get a solicitor and one who knows about gun laws and get
him started on it now rather than waiting on the psni!!

I lost my gun once. One morn at 4am there was a severe banging
on the door and shouts from someone like a real Belfast accent,
and the windows of my house got broke. So i fired a shot out the
window of the house to scare them off. But it turned out to be a
neighbour who was high on drugs and was on a wrecking spree. I
told the police i fired the shot. They arrested me and took my
gun.
I was interviewed, and they kept my gun. I got a solictor onto
the case and then bout 6 months later the PSNI rang me to say My
FAC was being revoked and i could appeal it. I went to the
solictor and he wrote them a letter appealing their decision and
about 2 months later i got a call saying i was getting my gun
back.
Get a solictor invoved, dont bother contacting the PSNI let the
solictor do all the work. It can take some time for it all to
work out. So be patient.

Aye they confiscated everything 5 guns in all, told me NOT to
re=apply for at least 8 years, I was that pissed off I never
bothered returning to the site, have settled a wee bit now,
thanks for keeping me in mind lol!
