Curious to see if they will put any 'conditions' on your
permit...
.22LR as 1st gun, for sure they'll add a 'can't shoot without
supervision' or similar

must be supervised for 6 months I think is the going rate, which
is quite silly as just don't shoot for months and your clear
unless your responsable and want to learn from the more
experianced.

they put that on mine for a shotgun and they also put it on my
father in laws fac (which he as had one for over 30yrs) when he
added a rimfire for the first time
so surely it will be on SA's ticket

When did they start asking for supervision i have never being
asked.

Gun cabinet checked and approved , certificate should take a
week to receive (so they say) again no probs , no interview very
good ;D

My FAC states in section 2 under 'specific conditions relating
to the firearms held:'
whilst the .22 CZ rifle, serial no ????? is in use the holder is
required to be supervised for six months by a person who has
attained the age of 21 years and has held a firearm certificate
for a firearm of that type for at least three years.
The range would be as good a place as any to fulfil that however
would be good to use someone else's experience outdoors to.

Just got my FAC this morning, I must say I found the hole
process very good and quick, so ill be picking up mr rifle ASAP
then looking to add on a shotgun lol ;D

happy and safe shooting,
you should of appled for a shotgun at the same time to save time
and £26 !!
you will be hooked now, you will just want to add more guns and
calibers to your collection lol
