Section for the pigeons?

I know it's close to the end of the season for most of us, but
what about the pigeons?
I'm sure we'll maybe shoot on at them for this month and the
next, but wouldn't it be useful to find out how folks have done
so far?
I haven't had the decoys out once! Found it too hard to get out
for a recce with a new house and all. Any woodies that made it
to the pan where onflight lines or out roosting.
Maybe November was the best month for them decoying to stubble,
seem to get that impression from other forums?
Is it not the cae that there just isn't any winter feeding for
them? No rape seed to keep the big flocks in one place?
What do you think? ???

They are definitely about in fair numbers. Know a few guys
shooting good bags of 50-100 on a regular basis. You would need
to be willing to travel lots of miles to find them though. I
just leave it to august when they are easy found and I can sit
in a T-shirt.

ive seen a few big flocks down poyntzpass direction when passing
through on the train, but nothing up our neck of the woods :(
