took a few hours out this mornin with the dog but the ground was
very wet after all the rain over the last few days, I put up 4
woodcock but one might have been one that flew back in after it
was flushed the first time, I didn't get a shot at all - I
lifted the gun to one of them but it was goin straight into the
sun and it was hard to measure just how far it was so I let it
go on not wantin to wound it for it to die later, here's a few
       pics

it was Brendy, the drains were up to the tops and there was
plenty of low lyin water, when it's like that it's hard to know
were the deep bits are - it's a dangerous place at the best of
times - when I see the dog swimmin I know to go another
       direction :-\

Your right lads, if the the water,s up to my fellows belly, past
his legs or b@ll&£@s then it,s too deep!
But he loves it, should have been born an otter, swimming from 3
months in the middle of winter!

       cheers foxy ~ he's just over 2 years old (10.10.2010) i love
him to bits, he's almost as good as I want him for shootin & he
goes fishin with me every day in the season, he's as steady as
rock he even knows when I pull my line in to change flies to go
back out of the way then he comes back to my feet, he even lies
in the boat as cool as you like, he's about 5 months old in this
       pic.
