How does an add on to your fac work

Hi all , if you have a fac for a 22 rifle and decide to get a
12g shotgun do you have do do the hole fac form thing again and
need a farmer to sign again?? Cheers happy new year all

You will need to fill out the variation forms and get permission
from a landowner/farmer etc to use 12G on their land.

And don't forget to take a copy of your old FAC, and send the
original in with the variation. Best is to deliver it directly
to the police station and get them to send it internal post

I was told by a fella in Maryland that I won't need a farmer to
Saigon again as he signed for my rifle and iv just got it
granted he said just to fill form in and choose a gun Nd he will
give me a letter to confirm I'm getting it from him??

Hi sa, are you thinking of the one on one off system? That may
not apply across calibres ie. .22 and 12g.
My big tip is as the lads say, photocopy your fac, otherwise if
firearms loose it, then how else do you prove legally that you
are entitled to own your weapons and ammo? Plus, sen it by
special next day delivery, it mus be royal mails safest and most
secure delivery method. I used to do the internal post with the
peelers, but they didn't,t ever give me a recpeipt which is your
proof of ownership!

Safest is to use the PSNI internal post. Just hand t in at any
police station, and say can you send this to firearms per
internal post please ?
And it doesn't cost anything, and is there the next day with no
chance of being lost ;D

No lads I'm keeping my 22 I'm adding on a 12 gage over and under
or semi auto ??

if you get a different calibre, whether it is larger, or
smaller, you generally have to get the permission forms signed
by the farmers again :-( its a pain, but they like to do
everything by the. Book, so get it done or they will throw it
out and tell you to reapply with the permissions signed >:(
