I am assuming both referees have approved your application, if
not contact your referee and check to see if they have completed
the approval. If not, see if they need help with it. If both
referees have approved your application, check your spam folder
and then contact FEB advising them that both referees have
approved but you do not have a confirmation e-mail from them.
Every bit of feedback for FEB is more information that they can
improve on.
it needs done within 7 days of you submitting it.
i would advise being proactive regarding your referees.

I got an e-mail a bit later saying they had both been approved
and my application had gone on to processing. So guess i just
wait until they call....
Just a query to anyone who has had one before, To get it renewed
to i need to go through all this again in 5 years ??

I dont like all the computer application i just think there
making it harder for gun people to continue there sport Older
people who hunt etc prob dont like computers so il be watching
to see if it takes off the gun dealer i deal with hates it lol

I do not think anybody including dealers will complain about the
quick turnaround times via the online system.
The dealers do not have as long to wait for money being paid for
gun and we get to own gun a lot quicker.
Older people can go into a lot of dealers and have the online
application done in the shop,and i am sure any older people
looking help will have no problem getting it.

Bill has hit it on the head, quicker turnaround times and we get
our FAC faster which means dealers get their money quicker.
I am available for any SACS members who need assistance with the
online applications. I have said it before and I will say it
again, if you are a SACS member, contact the officer during
office hours or email them and leave your details including a
contact number and best times to contact you. Ask them to get
me to contact you ref FAC online application assistance for
Northern Ireland.
I am in Co Down but will phone any member for general advice on
the online system or indeed will travel to assist any SACS
member in genuine online difficulty.
