Daystate is hard to beat. I had a Air Ranger for a while. I've a
Air Arms s510 regulated now.

nice, easy reload? have you a 10 mag on it?, daystate is still 1
at a time bolt action hav'nt changed a thing on it still
original, but still easy to load and have it nearly down to a
tee,i keep trying it without a scope and without sights just for
fun will get it one day, think the moderator throws it off.Down
the barrel i'm about 4 inch to low over a distance of
50meters,if I can do a playing card contuinous at that distance
i'd be a happy chap then again that's standing position

Thanks Cannon, have the .17 camo wrapped now don't really like
that stuff holds the water if caught in the rain.Might unwrap it
again rather give the gun a wipe as soon as used instead of
putting it away and cleaning later

My shotgun had neoprene covers on the stock and forend, but they
seemed to trap the rain and moisture. Took them off as soon as I
realised. Hydrodipping is probably the way to go with these
things.

I've never heard of hydrodipping will that alter the wood effect
long term?was looking at the gunsocks that you can get but
reckon same problem with trapped water
