       Buying from the UK mainland

Is it possible to buy from a UK based RFD once the FAC is in
place for NI? I'm thinking of changing to a PCP and the deals
       are better in the UK?

Yes it's no problem. They will have to send to your RFD then
       apply for
it. Only thing is, most air rifles in mainland uk is sub
       12ft/lb.

Bought a couple this way, as Snap said check they are not sub
12ft / lb unless that is what you want for some reason.
Also buy from a registered dealer not private if you can as you
cannot try before you buy but with a dealer you might have a bit
of come back especially if new.
       Good luck.

You will also have to factor in the cost of sending and
receiving the rifle. It could be £25 to send it, but your RFD
may charge £25 to receive it. I've heard of cases where it has
apparently cost £50 and above just to send a gun, then £30 to
receive it this end. You could be looking at an extra £50-£80 on
       top of the ticket price.

Looks like any advantage is wiped out, cost wise!
