Hi there i bought a hatsan striker last year been using it for
shooting rabbits an crows but find i onli get a shot at one crow
as they then hear me an fly off is there anything i can do to
reduce this, would a pcp air rifle be much quieter in order to
get a few more shots thanks in advance

PCPs will be far more accurate. I found with the Hatsan
springer rifles, anything beyond 25 yards and the accuracy id
out the window. With a decent PCP or springer 65 yards and
       beyond os easily achieved.
As for noise, I wouldnt tend not to worry about the noise to
       much.
Strickers aint as loud as you think. The spring inside the rifle
makes alot of noise due to steel on steel contact. Usually its
       the
snack of the pellet striking your target which scares the others
away. Crows are very jumpy birds, if they see any movement
       their gone.

Aye funny i thought the accuracy wasnt that hot after 30 or so
yards. Any recommendations on where to go to look about trading
it in for a pcp Im from north antrim

Maryland Guns have 2 lovely Theoben Rapids in .22 about
       28ft/lb - 30ft/lb.

Most springers sound louder as the mechanisms are right beside
your ear. If you are 20 or 30 yards away it's not that loud.
Lavin guns are up that way. Or McCoy's have some nice Air Arms
       S510 packages at the minute.
