xmas eve roost shooting

well after having 4 woodcock yesterday i walked a few streams
and had 3 teal so happy enough so home for a tin of soup and
about half 2 me and the stepson headed to a clump of trees to
try for a few woodies/magpies we had a good couple of hours
shooting we missed as many as we shot the final tally was 17
woodies 10 magpies and a jackdaw and rook a pic i took on my
phone not a great pic as it was dark but as i say a nice few
hours shooting ps just to add i used steel shot as id a pile
laying about and id sum cracking kills on woodies i also used
steel on saturday evening when we shot 4 woodies and 16
rooks/jackdaws and again id sum great kills on crows/woodies

Done well to rack up that amount of Magpies. They're tricky
buggers to get.

aye nice to see them bite the dust most ive ever had in a single
nite was 19 although me and a mate shot 21 one evening
