I had a Savage 25, Biggest pile of shite. Wouldnt feed , wouldnt
eject. stoppages all the time. So dont buy one of those.
I also had two runners (Foxes). at pretty close range, When I
mean runners I mean running off never to be seen again. Ive
never had that with a 204, 223 or a 22-250.
It would be ok for bunnies crows etc Even a guy at SACS i spoke
to said he wouldn't recommend it for foxing. Others may disagree
but in my opinion its not good for foxing.
I would go for a 204, cracking round

Aye i had a look at a second hand savage wasnt impressed at
all!ive bought sandwiches that came in better plastic!decided to
go for cz527 much better in my opinion!
Yea ive been reading different things bout fox some guys cant
say enough good things others arnt impressed at all!
To be honest all foxes ive shot have been called in close and
taken with 17hmr so if stick to the same method the hornet is
bound to do it and more!
Just want smthing with slightly more range and can reload for it
so ammo quality control shudnt be an isssue.
