       .22LR subsonic ammo

Paid £9.50 per 100 for CCI branded 40 grain subsonic, 1050fps.
Is this the going rate or are there any bargains to be had
       locally.

Depends where local is to you.
CCI item number" 0056" is the round I assume you are talking
about. £9:50 is a bit expensive for CCI Subsonic 40grn.
       Billy Stringer ,Maryland Countrysports, does
       100 CCI standard velocity (0032) for ~£6:50 (40grn at 1070fps.)
       100 CCI Mini-mag 40grn (0030) for ~£8:00
The numbers in brackets are the CCI round designation numbers
found at the bottom corner of the box.

Yes, they are 0056's I have.
At 6.50 thats a 30% reduction on what I paid.
I work all over NI, so I can call anywhere. I'll maybe pop in
there over the next week or so.

Yep, I found the Standards were able to be sound moderated well
and still cycled the bolt of my semi very nicely.
