       New Dog. Need a trainer

As some of you may have know my last dog died. But we recently
got a new bitch, a hungarian vizsla again. This time she is
getting house privelidges. However dispite continued efforts of
training to be house trained she is not complying. For a few
weeks she will behave, then she will decide to pee and s**t
where she sees fit. We are currently looking for a trainer to
mainly house train but i was hoping to get someone who could
possible help with training for a future gun dog. I am in the
magherafelt area but prepared to travel within reason. If
anyone knows of anyone please recomend them or if you have any
       advice please let me know.

This might seem like common knowledge and I apologise if it is.
I had a Lab who would do the same, she knew she was doing wrong
       but continued to do so.
The way I trained her was with treats.
when she went on the pads, I immediately gave her a treat and a
small play. When she went on the floor, I told her to go away
then blanker her (not even looking at her).
She quickly realised it was good to go on the pads.
I then started to move the pads closer to the door once she was
using them regular, until I got them outside the door and she
immediately started crying to get out.(still using the treats).
Took about 2 weeks to get her under control and about 3-4 weeks
to get her to let you know she need out to goto the toilet.

Thompy's advice there is 100% spot on, but there is a fella in
Drumullan that used to train gun dogs if you need him. Ill get
       his name for ya.
