had to get a blast at some Skeet with the 20 bore when the rain
went over, started at the low house and worked back - only
missed the first 3 high birds - too far in front, straighten it
from 6 back to 1, shot 21/24, frig 20 bore shells are expensive
- 500/£120 won't be doin that again in a hurry.

I'm the same I shoot woodcock with Eley Olympics 7.5's I even
shoot pigeons with them but I prefer 30grm 6's for pheasants &
if i've any left I'll use them for pigeons for the odd long shot
over 45 years for the craic, generally I like to kill pigeons at
about 25/30 yards max.
Brendy If you're get up to Newry would you price their 20 bore
shells ? If they've anythin under £60 a carton I'd take a run
up myself.
