.223 boresighter

Bought a boresighter for the .223. Anyone know Wat sort of
height above or below it should be shining at on the cross hair
to be somewhere close to zero at about 100 yards?

It's only to get u on paper
Set target up put laser in adjust scope until as close as
possible to laser dot
Remove laser shoot a group of 3 shots adjust until group Is on
target

Aww ano. But is the path of the bullet pretty flat shooting when
it leaves the barrel out to 100 yards. It won't be like a foot
or more off?

my 223 was about 3 foot low when i set it up.

If u have the bore sight u should be within a few inches at 50
yards
If ur scope is 1/4" adjustments at 100yards it will take 8
clicks to move a inch at 50 yards so if it 1.5" off it will be
12 clicks in opposite direction to get it on target
