       sonic cleaner

       hi am thinking off getting a sonic cleaner for cleaning brass
       for reloading.what size should i think off going for,prob would
       be max of 100 rounds at a time should i go for a timer one or
       standard any advice appreciated

       There a great job cleans in side of case primer pocket and the
       pin hole spotless to need to clean primer pocket ever again by
       hand.
       They all do the same pal I use a £15 one I got from lidl great
       wee job I only put 30 ish in at a time as it does a better job
       70 can fit.
       Get onto ebay and get a cheap one because the ones that have
       hornady and laymen stickers on the are twice the price and are
       the exact same as some on ebay.
       You'll want something at least 1.5ltr mines only holds a pint of
       fluid you'll pic one up on ebay for 35 quid

       thanks Geoff.finding it hard to get 1.5 ltr on ebay for that
       price but will keep trying and if you do find one it doesnt post
       to n Ireland

       ok Geoff got sonic cleaner put cases in set timer for 480s yes
       cleaned outer case but didnt really clean primer pocket.put back
       in and set them up on their ends pocket down still not clean.put
       washing liquid in and put heater on,still not really clean.any
       advice on what to do.

       Go to your nearest maplins and buy a bottle of " sea clean" add
       cpl cap fuls to sonic cleaner job done.....don't waste time with
       homemade solutions not worth the bother this stuff is good.....

       thanx millrace got the seaclean great job tried the vinegar salt
       and soap ok but the seaclean is fantastic

       Got fluid out of work don't know exactly what it is but it
       cleans the brass up 10 times better than the maplins and lyman
       fluid I have used before
       smells like old socks
       we were using it to clean gear boxes so mite have a degreaser in
       it
