       General opinion needed....

Have a 22lr and thinking of changing or getting another gun but
my head is turned trying to decide what to do.
Just thought i would post up here to get general feedback on
       peoples favourite combination of guns.
I was thinking of getting a wee air rifle for around sheds etc,
then thought maybe a shotgun for over the winter or a good
30ft/lb PCP to replace the 22lr for short and reasonably long
shots, or changing to a 17hmr and a wee air rifle etc etc.
Let me know what you think, mainly shoot rabbits, pigeons and
other smaller vermin......i know it depends what you shoot where
you shoot etc but just a general comment might help me out.
       Cheers

The .22lr is cheap and effective, but an air rifle is almost
essential if you're doing vermin control around farmyards. I use
a .22lr and a .22 air rifle and between them they cover
everything. The .17 is great craic, but more expensive and more
problematic what it comes to ammo selection and quality.

Id vote for a 12 bore!
Really versatile and its hard to beet a day over decoys!
Have a .22 and its dead on for rabbits thinkin about a .17
meself just for a bit more range!
Really with the air rifle a half decent bolt .22/.17 and a cheap
shoty uve got most things covered!

You could get a dozen different answers for this and nobody's
answer will be wrong. You need to take a good look at what
you're quarry is and where you shoot it, and possibly what you
see yourself shooting in the future.
I'll always have a shotgun. I've used an hmr for about 3 years
and love it, but I've recently swapped my air rifle for a .22lr,
and to be honest, in future I can see the hmr making way for a
       centrefire.

I would vote air rifles everytime. Only thing is PCP's are
       expensive.

Cheers for replies, I know everyone has a different opinion on
this, but that's good as it supports some things I am thinking
over and now I know others are happy with eg a 22lr and an air
       rifle.
Will sort something out in the next couple of weeks.
May be a 22lr for sale soon or maybe not ???

If u have the money and the space in your cabinet I would just
keep as many guns as you can
