Insuring an extra car like a jeep for lamping?

Im thinking of buying a jeep for going shooting/lamping in and
pulling a boat to take to the sea. Anyone know how to work the
insurance on it? I currently have a Peugeot 307 and i want to
continue to drive it for work and getting around because its
cheap to run.
Can you run an extra policy or what? Im only 22 so could work
out quite expensive

Phone your insurance company and explain what you want the
second insurance vehicle for and they will be able to quote you
for it. check out full and third party options.

as a second vehicle you wouldn't be able to use your earned No
Claims Bonus. so your effectively starting from scratch. your
age may be a factor too as jeeps can be high groups

The jeep will be under commercial insurance so it will be a new
policy if you want to keep your car as well. I was thinking off
doing the same it was costing me over £400 to insure the jeep.

That's a bit steep !!!
I have my second jeep with them and they are always cheaper than
over here
I suppose it depends on age etc
