new to clays

so me and the old man grabbed the shotguns and done a bit of
Down the line to try it. first time I've tried clays and the
first time hes done them in about 30years lol... my hit rate
just about got into double figures, I know its gona take more
than one time to get it right..but any hints/tips much
appreciated

I find that the earlier you pick the clay up the easier they are
to hit i would mount the gun and point it just above the centre
of the trap that way when you call pull your picking the clay up
immediately instead of searching for it! It might not work for
you but thats how i got onto them

DTL always looks easy to the uninitiated but it might be an
idea to get on a skeet range first and just shoot the stands one
and seven till you get on them then try the two and six and so
on. DTL can be difficult enough.

aye definitely wasnt as easy as some had made it out to be haha.
good craic all the same. came away with a bloody sore shoulder
but enjoyed myself haha. aye well my baikal is fixed at half
and 3/4 choke. dont know if its is a help or hinderance but can
always be used as the excuse ;) hahaa
