Hatsan Escort Magnum.... any thoughts?

Going to stick in for a variation to add a shotgun and was
looking at the Hatsan.
Online reviews give it a pretty good write-up for both price and
3 year warranty.
Anyone owned one or know first hand about them?

Think it all depends if you get a good one or not , some will
not cycle smaller loads and jam up often where others work with
out a hitch ...
second hand berretta would be a better choice imo
theres also the revo semis that are cheap new and seem to be
getting good reviews

I have one, good gun, packed with features and is solidly built.
It'll cycle anything as long as its kept clean (and they do seem
to get very dirty so I'd recommend cleaning after every outing).
Also comes with a 3 year warranty so if anything does go wrong
you're covered, tho surprisingly the hatsans about the only
shotgun I've ever owned that hasn't had something break. The
early hatsans gave alot of trouble and so the guns still get a
bit of flack for that, but all the faults wete seemingly ironed
out years ago. Tbh I'd recommend going for a new hatsan over a
second hand semi auto, never know what abuse they've taken in
the past, but that's just me :-\

So it seems they can be a bit of hit and miss..... cracking
warranty though and great price........ decisions decisions
decisions........... :-\

better to get a good s/hand gun for the same money or less there
are lots out there

Went to local gun shop and he tried to sell me a year old hatsan
escort semi with extra barrel and chocks for £375 !
No chance.

Review of this gun in this months sporting gun(sep) got a good
review 90/100. 21/25 for styling only thing that really let it
down. Suppose depends if u want style or a workhorse?

build quality is average
Sights are nice
Get urself a beret talk a302 or a303 best semi auto's every
made.
