       Lever action .357 for field use

       As above guys was wanderin if PSNI would accept these!
       Was thinkin of getin one for club use but was wanderin if "close
       range fox" would be acceptable aswel?
       Seen on another forum guys have them for this reason across the
       water!

       There was a thread on this not so long ago on here. Seems the
       police won't grant pistol calibers for field use.

       Yea she said maximum was .223
       I thought that sounded daft as although .357 is the larger
       caliber i think everyone would say .223 is a bit more potent!
       But when i asked further they said theyed been through it before
       and it was always a no!

       So what if I was to invent a gun that fired necked down .50
       cases that took .223 heads. Would that be ok for field use?
       Refusing a caliber based on it's diameter is a bit daft. Each
       cartridge has it's individual characteristics. Those
       characteristics are what should be taken into consideration. I
       cannot understand the mentality of it.
