Oooooh ruger takedown wooden stocks

I know the take downs are getting popular, was tempted to buy
one myself but wasnt impressed by the plastic stock, but these
look awesome!

I will admit they look a lot better than the synthetic stocks.
This might sound daft but I found the take down 10/22 to be more
accurate than the standard 10/22. Maybe it was just a bad full
stocked version, but given my experience of the two I would
rather buy the take down version. Only for a bit of range
plinking mind.

Havnt shot a take down yet, just played with them in the shop.
I'd be the same though, would only be for blatting targets on
the range, I went off the idea of using 22s for hunting long
ago, plus I don't like hunting without a bipod, and reckon the
takedown accuracy could be affected by fitting one (just a
guess). Anyway think this is the ideal fun set up lol
