new to shooting..

alright guys im in the process of sending off my fac paper work.
me and gf have farm with 20 acres... just wandering what sort of
questions the feo asks when they visit?.. also how many air
rifles cn i own?im going for hw95k for starters but how do i go
about getting a second gun on dwn the line. cheers for any info

Hi mate and welcome to the forums. Your FEO will be concerned
primarily with your security arrangements, and with you as a
person. When they call out they are there to establish whether
or not you can be deemed fit to be in possession of a firearm,
and whether there's a risk of theft of the gun. By this I mean
they will check the security features of the house in which the
gun is to be kept. Things such as pvc doors and windows go in
your favour, as does having CCTV and a dog. You must also be
able to demonstrate that you understand the importance of
firearm usage and storage. Things like not shooting in the
direction of nearby houses or roads, and storing your gun out of
sight of visitors in an approved cabinet etc. Fairly simple
stuff providing you have a bit of sense about you :)

Aye mate simple really as dancake says!
As long as ur not a nutter and have adequite security should be
fine!
Regards second gun its very similar to first!choose gun,fill out
forms and send them off they dont always come to visit you again
as long as ur cabinet is big enough for what ur applying for!

cheers for replys guys sounds good then should be plain sailing
we have few dogs and everything else listed so it will just be
the wait then :D

Just the wait? Lol
Expect a longgggg wait... probably 3-6 months before you get the
licence.
