Removing gamey taste from meat

Anyone any tips on removing the gamey taste from meat, esp
rabbit? I've heard soaking overnight in water and vinegar, also
soaking in butter milk is supposed to help?

Soak the rabbit meat in salt water overnight it will take the
strong game taste away.
The salt draws the moisture out of the meat.

I've tried the salt water trick before but found it wasn't a
great job, maybe I didn't use enough salt?

try milk it works on golden eye soak it overnight

A fella in work who claims to have been a chef at one stage says
he soaks his in vinegar over night

tablespoon of cider vinegar in tepid water. Put in fridge and
soak overnight.

Cheers, ill give the ideas a try soon, was hoping to get some
tonight but remembered I'm out of ammo for the hmr, .222 doesn't
leave much to eat lol
