I was wondering if anyone had any tips on how to
call/lure/attract sikas??
There is a nice run of them in an area I can shoot but I can't
seem to be able to get close enough to actually dispatch one!!
Are they a native to ireland?? And are there hybrids of them??

No I'll not be shooting for a while, yea the land owner actually
made me aware of them and said to thin them out a bit, I tried a
bit last year but was only getting glimpses of them or else they
would be at the road side where it wasn't safe to shoot!! Quite
a frustrating experience! Now he's come back to me asking again
and I told him I'd try, but couldn't promise anything!! Is it
legal to hunt them at night??

I would be using my tikka .243 with a 90grain soft point
bullet!!
What would you say is the best caliber/bullet combo??

You would need a 100 grain bullet as well anything below that is
illegal.

SS no worries Off to Canada for 3 weeks with the Scouts at
beginning of July!! Hoping Walmart and all local gun shops have
some bargins. Credit card is going to get a hammering. Me and 2
sons will have an afternoon out hopefully shooting some pistols
and other kit. Yes Sir all this kit came out with me and I have
nothing to Declare!!! ;D ;D ;D
