Lads got a new pup there the other day but the breeder only took
a third off his tail meaning its going to be far too long for
hunting.
anyone know any vets who dock tails in the lisburn area?

As the other 2 say no vet will do it again , unless it geys
seriously damaged ...
what make you think a tail will be to long for hunting? Some
dogs will never damage there tails all depends on individual
dogs and how they carry there tails ...
what breed of dog is it?

most of the springer trial men leave a longer tail on the dog as
its more stylish when hunting

trial men will stretch the back leg and stretch the tail to meet
the hock and cut it off from there, as somebody else said its to
make the dog look more flashy and stylish going through cover
