       please excuse my ignorance, but are our FAC's valid over on the
       mainland? given the  differences in some firearms regulations
       etc... I have friends over in England and Scotland who have
       invited me over to shoot in the future. Just wondering as I
       noticed at the top of our certs it says (off the top of my head)
       Article 3 of Firearms Order 2004 Northern Ireland.

       Yeah they are valid on the mainland and anywhere in the EU I
       think,  iv been over to scotland a few times to shoot with no
       bother you just need to get the forms for the boat/plane sorted
       prior to going. The firearms order is Just the same
       parliamentary act on the mainland but with a few changes to suit
       Northern Ireland eg hand guns

       Yes our FAC is valid in rest of UK, handguns require special
