anyone tried out the new savage model 16 yet was tempted to go
for one in .223

hi Phil bought one, just got permit back, hope to pick it up
tomorrow, so will hopefully get to use it shortly. Then i can
comment on it.

hi phill got scope sorted today and was out zeroing in with a
friend who has been shooting longer than me. any way we were
using hornady steel case, ppu and them auld russian stuff and
reloads.after zeroing in he was getting 1" at 100 yds i was
getting 1"-2"at 100 yds very pleased with myself.then we tried
the reloads and he got 3 in 5/8" or maybe 1/4"he said he never
had grouping like that before.he likes the gun and so do i.would
advise you to get one if you thinking about it.

def tempted gonna try n get hands on first with one in the
middle of makin a custom stock for the savage axis first then go
for one
