Just sent her away yesterday to get the barrel shortened to 16"
so I can enter the next shoot ni competition.
like bsaozzy my targets are unmarked cause I didn't even fire a
shot at them just tried to keep them in the sights was hard
enough lol I was all over the place without a rest. I'm hoping
the shorter barrel will help steady my aim. If not I'll be
looking for a punt gun .
I also sent the Ruger 77/22 wmr to be screw cut for a moderator.
I know some will say it is not worth while but it will surely
have some effect after all most of you center fire owners will
have your guns moderated and I assume the sound barrier is
broken with all those different calibers used.

Hi, what mod are you putting on the wmr? going to get mine done
but don't know what mod to go for. ive shot one with mod, does
make a bit of a difference ear protection not needed. good luck

Lefty where did you send your barrel to be shortened.& how much
is it costing? Is it being reproofed
aswell?

Haven't made my mind up yet about the mod Tom McConnell says he
has one to suit but can't remember the make.
Tom McConnell in Burnside is getting them done not be proofed.
£70.00
Hope to pick them up Monday evening.

Look up A-Tec moderaters very light weight. no rusting or
cleaning. and your dealer can order it in for
you if none here. post how you get on with 16 inch .

did you get her cut down? i have a cz .17hmr black synthetic
with 16inch barrel...and i would swap her for a wooden model
with a 20 inch barrel any day. wish i had of went for the longer
barrel now looking back as i never shoot from a vehicle , always
on foot.

jimbo getting cut down tomorrow its a .22 lr i don't shoot from
a vehicle either just want it shorter to help steady my aim i
wear glasses and cant seem to focus well while wearing them so i
have to take them off and screw the magnification up to see the
target but with the high magnification the movement off the
target is exaggerated if it works thats ok if not i'll cry lol
