Been looking at few rifles companies and CZ has some good
package deals. Are they any good for the price?

Brilliant rifles for the money ive 2, one in 22 and the other in
hmr.

17HMR is the calibre of the rifle mate

Hmr stands for Hornady Magnum Rimfire, and the .17 is the
caliber of the round . Really a .22 magnum casing necked down to
take a .17 caliber round . Relatively new but becoming common ,
only thing is round are a bit expensive .

Just been watching some YouTube vids of .22 v .17 feck me those
.17 are unbelievable for there size. Its changed my mind about
getting a .22. CZ .17 on the list for me.

.17 hmr are a good round ! But you don't get the selection of
rounds you have with .22 ! And again can be costly . Not really
a round you go out and do some plinking with ... Both have
their good points and bad points , again it all depends on what
you are going to use it for and where you will use it !! Most
indoor ranges don't let you use them inside due to noise and
their high velocity .
All things to think about before buying either .

John has pretty much summed it up there. If I had to have one or
the other tho its the 22 every time.
