Possible cheap night vision mod

Looks simple, if the nv is up to it would be a cheap way to get
night vision, just mount to the back of a scope. Ill maybe get
one soon to try on the air rifle

Stick a 3rd scope mount upside down on the scope, with a bit of
weaver rail sticking out from the base (which will be above the
level of the eye piece) and extending out past the eye piece,
then attach the camera to the rail. That's how I did it years
ago when I made my first night vision

cud just screw down through the cam mount into a rail that is
mounted to an extra scope ring

Good find babby at that price its worth a try. Im sure it would
even do if wanted to record abit day time shooting though the
scope.

Anyone try one of these yet, got an ir light through the post so
looking at getting a wee bullet camera and display, but if one
of these would work to a reasonable distance would save a few
pounds.
Or any suggestions welcome for a good wee set up for out to
100-120yds.

Wonder how a compact camera with ir filter taken out would work.
Prob not pick up ir light too far. Just looks similar to this
wee camera.
