Breaking in a shotgun without firing?

Having some trouble with the lanber semi auto I bought last
year, it's giving alot of stovepipe jams, and when I say alot I
mean alot ::) I don't think it's anything wrong in particular,
gun just needs broke in (which I couldn't really do last year).
ive been leaving the bolt locked back when it's in the cabinet
to help soften up the return spring a bit, but has anyone any
other tips on how to help it along before I put a slab of bb's
       through it?

Sounds more like an extractor issue. I've had and fired many
brand new semi autos from Hatsans to Berettas and never had this
       issue before.

That's what I thought at first but heavier shells shoot fine,
and 32g 6 are mostly ok, but 28g 7.5's turn it into a single
shot lol feels like they don't have the power to fully push/kick
back the bolt/depress the spring, even pulling the bolt back by
hand takes more force than other semi autos I've had, eg
mossberg 930, hatsan escort, Benelli, etc. normally with a new
semi auto I put a slab of heavy stuff though to get it broke in
but shoulder wouldn't have survived it last year :-\
Ps youre right about hatsans, got one at the same time last year
and it runs flawlessly on everything I put through it

Drill port out by 1.5 mm to increase pressure if that fails
take spring out and place in a vice

Cheers forgot about this post lol I spent an evening with a tub
of grinding paste anda selection of Allen keys working on the
ports which helped a lot, 7.5's run fine now lol
