       Found this wee sucker running about as bold as brass this
       afternoon !!
       One shot sorted that out !!!!

       Looks like an accuate shot with the blood in the ear.

       Hi BsaOzzy . Shot it with a .22 Airarms S510 Fac . Around the 20
       yard mark . Not that far really .
       Honestly couldn't believe how bold this wee sucker was ! It was
       scaring the hens away from their feed all day !! Lol

       Good on ya. I have hens but don't see many rats until October
       and the rest of the winter. I think I need more practice with
       the air rifle though. I usually miss!

       Browning that's The only problem with keeping hens , you will
       get rats ! The air rifle is ideal for ratting , normally you
       need to wait while to get a good shot but that wee sucker was
       non-stop  , out and in . It was even chasing the hens away from
       the food bowls which I have never seen before !! To be honest it
       was quite funny to watch , but there is only one good rat ,
       that's a dead one ! And as you say it's normally Autume they
       start to appear  . Must keep an eye out for more !!
