Strangford Wildfowlers

Wanted to ask anyone on the forum a member of this wildfowling
club I decided to take the plunge and join for the up coming
season I know they shoot strangford and Coney Island on Lough
Neag And also have Woodcock shooting any other info would be
Great :D

hi m8 you ll get the map pack send out to you soon as well as a
meeting to show new members the access points on different parts
of Strangford
the maps will include the forestry blocks and the rules on
shooting the same for both loughs too
there is work parties taking place each weekend and that's a
good time to get to know other members and ask questions

Signed up for the wildfowlers myself this year, was shooting
with my dad in his syndicate on Lough Neagh for years but
fancied something a bit closer to home. Seems to be a nice bunch
of lads involved too hopefully I'll get to meet a few more when
get a chance to attend some of the work parties. Looking forward
to the new season, the forestry access for woodcock is just a
nice little bonus.

Duck Caller and Chris thanks for the replys i only know one
fella in it who got me to join so will be hoping to get to some
of the meetings to met others wildfowlers And get to know the
shooting on both loughs and for the price the woodcock shooting
a nice touch But will Def have to get a Dog very soon ;)

I knew strangford had an island on lough neagh but didnt know
that it was coney island. First time i have heard their island
named. And i agree nothing beats abit early duck shooting. :)

It's not coney it's scaddy, you also forgot to mention 4 Islands
in strangford itself :D and there's 2 for rests for woodcock at
the minute lol few more would be nice
