       Quick (and possibly stupid) question. Am i right in saying you
       don't need a licence to fish from the shoreline/beach over here?
       I rarely go fishing, bout once a year (if even) and any time i
       have it's either been at rectory lodge etc or out on a boat when
       havnt needed a licence

       No licence needed if salt water. Fish away. If you find a decent
       spot for pollock let me know!

       Sorry no licence needed if shoreline salt water. Inland salt
       water lakes, ponds and possibly tributaries may be subject to
       different rules. Pollock is brown, silver and fishy in
       appearance. Big eyes too :)

       Cheers, it'll be definite beach/shoreline, probably kilkeel
       direction. Lol ill either have an expert with me or 3G coverage
       to make sure what I catch, I can identify mackerel and ling and
       that's about it  ::)
