scope issues on cz455

my father recently got a cz455 brand new with richter optik
3-9x50 scope. we zeroed it at a 25m indoor rifle range and it
was fine. took it out today and it shooting very low. even with
the turret turned up to maximum it shoots about 6 inches low of
the bull.. any ideas on how to sort it?

Hi Will. I bought a new cz 452 with the same
scope. Had the same issue as you. Turned out
the scope was f**ked. I would try another scope
if I was u.

Get electrical insulating tape and wrap it around the scope
where it sits on the rear mount. This will raise up the back of
the scope so it will aim lower and u will have plenty of clicks
to play on. I done this to my scope as I ran out of elevation
clicks

cheers, any recommendations on scopes? ive seen a good few
people mention nikko sterling mountmasters. or is thete better
for similar money?

i got a cz452 with the same scope and.. touch wood.. has been
brilliant... luck of the draw i guess

iv got a nikko sterling mountmaster on my cz 455 and im gettin
inch groups and 100 yards tho havnt managed to get out on a day
were its not windy,
there a good scope but i do plann to change it to a more power
full one some time soon,

what power is your nikko scope?.. was having a nosey on a few
sites and saw a 4-12x50AO for a decent price. may just get one
for myself as well as one for the old man lol

mines 4.9.50 so probs 12 or maybe even 16 would be grand, 1
thing is thats i noticed is set the parallax turrent (big twisty
bit on front) to 50 and never touch it again, as if i move it
the point of impact goes way off, iv never needed to adjust mine
i just aim an inch low at close things and an inch high at far
away things ;D
