       Which one

My Dad wants a PCP for shooting bunnies in his garden only max
range 30-50 yards. He fancies either a Weihrauch HW 100 in .22
or a Daystate Huntsman classic both with a moderator. He wants
to buy a new one but might be persuaded to buy SH if any
available localy in NI He only has a blackpowder shotgun as he
gave me his .22 BRNO years ago. would it take long to get added
(he's in his 70's)or should I get it and give it to him on loan?
Might take a .177 if available too.
Any thoughts welcome. Probably shooting from a table with a rest

I'd go for the Daystate without question. I know Weihrauch make
excellent air rifles, but Daystate make better PCP's. I was
considering a HW100 for a while there, but the stupidly long
barrel of the 'FAC version' annoyed me the more I thought about
it. Applying for it yourself and having it on loan would be
grand, but personally I think he should apply for it himself.
.22 obviously hits harder, but at short ranges a .177 would take
a lot of guess work out of shots. The only thing about .177 is
you really wouldn't wantto push the power past 14 ft/lbs, as
most .177 pellets wouldn't have enough mass to remain stable
       during flight.
