Tracking

Before I became interested in gundog work, with my first
Labrador, I started working trials training, which, for those
who have no idea what that is, it's the equivalent (basically)
of police dog work. She was pretty good, but unfortunately
ruptured a cruciate before we ever got to competitions, here's a
few pics of us tracking, excuse the scruffy dog walking gear.

She's trained to go into a down when finding an *article*, it's
a fairly basic principle, and tracking training can be altered
from training to track where someone has walked and dropped
things, to tracking game, the way a dog scents doesn't change.
