Took my air arms s510 fac out the other day to zero it so I am
ready to clear some feral pigeons out of cow sheds . I checked
the zero to find it was out quite a bit , so I zeroed it at 30
yards which was all good . I refilled to have a bit of fun
plinking and found my next group of shots was way of zero . Now
I can't get the rifle to keep its zero at all . Think it was
fine when I put it away before the winter. Think the scope is
ok as it's only a year old .
       Anyone any ideas ?

John, I have the same rifle and had the same
Problem as yours today. I was shooting earlier
and all of a sudden it started firing apx 2 inch
of zero. I blamed it on a knock to the scope.
Have u a silencer on the rifle? If so it could be the
       pellet clipping it.

Gave it a good clean today and zeroed it at 15 yard just to try
it out , put 50 shots through it and 3 fills and it kept its
zero fine . I'll take it back out next week and try zeroing it
at around 35 yards and see how things go . I don't have a
silencer on it so that's out . Next week will tell a tail when I
try to get it sorted at the longer distance .
But as I said after cleaning at 15 yards 10 shot groups were the
       size of a 5 pence piece .
       I'm a bit happier ! Hope that's it sorted !!!
Thanks for the reply Snap !! I'll let you know how things work
       out next week .
       John
