177 hmr rifle

Hi guys looking for my first rifle hoping to get 17hmr.
was looking at cz 455 @525 quid then came across a savage 93f17
@£425 new with walnut stock
what do you guys reckon?

Just waiting on mine coming back 17hmr cz455 thumblehole stock.
I liked the feel of it and the look cant tell u much more that
yet
I dontno about the savage but hear the make good stuff.

iv got the CZ 455 with heavy barrel and thumbhole stock, i love
it and will be hanging on to it for a long time, very accurate
and comfy to hold one thing tho is buy a 10 shot mag makes life
easyer, welcome to come try mine out iv plrnty of land here to
shoot targets,

I don't like the heavy barrel on the 455 - don't knop why folk
go for these for use in the field - they are just added weight.
The sporter barrel is just as accurate and much lighter. The
heavy barrel is only really required if you are shooting mainly
at the range. Either way I would go for a CZ over the Savage
anyday - the Savage is an accurate rifle, but the finish is not
as good and the magazine can be a bugger to get in and out
properly.
