There was 8 of us released 300 a couple years back. It lasted a
couple of years. Went abt it all the right way got farmers to
sign the shooting wrights put up no shooting signs. Put up a
good pen got feeders etc. Was a lot of hard work and money they
eat some stuff i cant remember now wat price we paying for a ton
of wheat at a time but had to feed growers pellets before that.
Running out to check them making sure they have water all sorts.
Cant remember where the birds came from another boy sorted that
out the price then was 3.50 a bird at 6 weeks old. Had the black
necks the second year and wer better birds. It was to much work
and money for this is my point other fuckers in shooting the
crap out them while us at work we only shot saturdays and the
rest of the country shooting them during the week. so wish u the
best with them im gona stick to the duck shooting.

Good luck with it man. A few guys i know had similar problems
with other wankers shooting their birds while they were working
etc they packed it in after a few years due to it not being
worth the money invested. It seens you need someone to play
groundskeeper to deter locals from shooting on the sly.

Put out plenty of bins with wheat and bird puller mixed in. We
check our birds three times a day.very rewarding seeing your dog
putting up a pheasant that you've spent the time feeding and
protected from Mr Fox. Even more rewarding if you don't miss it
       when it goes up lol
