what a way o end the season

well on wednesday i went down to my mate to shoot over his
pointers for woodcock and snipe and the 2 dogs performed
brilliant and held the points really well shooting over a
pointer is something else i shot 3 woodcock and 8 snipe there
was plenty of birds and opportunity that i didnt take, i like
letting birds get off me but in the terain we where hunting i
should have just been pegging away once they were up you couldnt
get a shot within the ancient forest we where hunting , then
yesterday i went to the foreshore with the cousin and had the
perfect end to the season, all season ive been after a pintail
and yesterday i got it, a craicing shot and what a retrieve for
my wee dog, she went out in 4ft waves about 50yards out to pick
up the pintail, over the moon was an understatement.

get mounted and I'm going to eat him,
