c z 16 or 18 inch barrel?

Hi thinking of buying 22lr and would like advice wheather to go
for 16" or 20" barrels is there any difference
in performance between the two? its the cz style synthetic with
nickle barrel im iterested in for all weather
purposes. but iffey about nickle barrel. in case it peeled.
anybody got one?

No need for a 20" barrel as a .22 round reaches it's maximum
velocity before 16" (think it's 14").a 16" barrel would be spot
on and lighter. As for the finish peeling, I've never
encountered or heard of a nickle barrel peeling. CZ's are well
built, and are well finished.

Its matter of personal preference, I wanted an 18" on my CZ455
but when I held both the 20" felt better for me

I agree the 20" fells better more balanced
But as I shoot from vehicle alot and like the look of the
shorter one I went for the 16" used to be shorter ones weren't
as accurate but nowadays the engineers have got this old problem
sorted. ;D
