how did everyone do

Just wondering how everyone got on today on the last Saturday of
the season i went out for snipe and woodcock and got hit with
rain snow sunshine and strong winds
didn't see a single woodcock but the new dog hunted well and
flushed 5 snipe of which i got 3 so not bad

went after ducks and got a duck teal was poor, on the foreshore
tomorrow so fingers crossed i get my pintail

Had a dander round a new permission . Few pigeons then onto
another new bit off ground .. Not much on it weather crap but
got the dog a good run

bad day we downed 5 duck but just picked 1 hope next week get a
few more be four the end of the season

I got out yesterday after work as intended and got the 4
woodcock I was after. I flushed another couple after I had
reached my quota and one of them was just too tempting to not
have a go at. Therefor I went over my number and ended my season
with 101 woodcock. I flushed a couple of Mallard from a flooded
drain which I took for the oven and a nice high pigeon just to
finish off a good evening and complete my shooting season.

went to the lough 2day 5 of us turned up and we all went to the
roofed hide i sat back let them shoot and enjoyed the craic.
Ended up with 6 duck the dogs had their work cut out 2day in the
rough water. Hope to get back before its over.

Portglenone Co Antrim. Its hard to get time as I work 6 days a
week most weeks but I do always get out once or twice a week.
Even If I had more time I limit myself to 100 a year. Its more
than enough for me. By the time February comes I'm glad to get
eating chicken again.
