       Download chairgin pro by hawke
Shoot a 5 shoot group at 20yards (Zero at 20) then another at
       50yards measure drop.
Go into chairgun select pellet your using from the drop down
menu make sure you have the correct weight pellet.
At top of page it will ask u your zero range inter 20yards
It will have a default fps adjust this fps setting up and down
until the graph at 50yards matches your pellet drop.
So say u measured pellet drop at 2.5" you will want to adjust
fps until it says 2.5" at 50yards on the graph.
It will automatically change your ftlb every time you change
       your fps.
I made it sound hars there but it ia actually easy.

I'll have to try that. But is it an accurate method?

Very accurate my air rifles I had were all checked this way
Hw77 went from 10.5ftlb to 15ftlb after spring change
Hw90 was pumped up to 25psi I think which took it from 11.2ftlb
to 18ftlb, I got info off another forum theh guy was using the
same pellets as me and he said he got 18ftlb I checked with
chair gun and it was averaging 18ftlb .
My hw100 was supposed to be 26ftlb with Bisley mags it was
pushing 26.4ftlb wen put through chairgun
