I have been bitting my tongue.
Forrester, Im sorry our wee forum doesn't meet your high
standards.
I started this forum for people with the same interests as
myself to share
their stories and maybe people could learn something on the way.
From our
forum started members have met up with others and got new
shooting
opportunities and made new friends. On here we like to have
friendly banter with
everyone.
After a few hours from you joined the forum you have called this
''crap''.
If you had been here abit earlier you could have made your views
known regarding
swearing known as we had a vote whether swearing is allowed or
not,
So after a couple of hours here in the forum you have offended
me and our
moderators who work hard with the daily running of the site.
As for no one moderating the site we have removed posts, threads
and even
banned members due to offending others, but again you would not
know this
simply because you are new to the site.

Well we like it so what. You cant please everyone. Saw 40-50
honkers heading ur way yesterday afternoon from the Barmouth.
Seen any lately with you. None around Balls Point last few days.

As I mentioned to Forester. We are only human at the end of the
say and do our best between us to moderate the site to the best
of our ability. We don't want to be like other forum sites that
have countless of rules as we believe this impacts on the users
and their posts.

Listen guys,I don't care what language you use whilst you are
among your mates, and the fact that it was Sunday as one member
suggests, has nothing to do with it. It's about the impression
you give to outsiders, prospective members,young people, their
parents, and people who are already critical of our sport, you
are not doing yourselves any favours. I apologise to the guys
who run the forum, I shouldn't have said what I did about their
work, I was frustrated by the way the site works, still think it
isn't very user friendly, but then I am no ace on a computer,
and seeing the language set me off on one. I know what it's
like when you are involved in running an organisation, it's
always the same old faces when it comes to doing the work and
you get little appreciation for what you do in your own time, so
again, I apologise.
I do reserve the right to disagree with the free use of bad
language and gung-ho phrases on a shooting forum, our detractors
will be happy seize on what we do publicly and hold it up as
typical of what shooters do, when in reality I believe this is
far from the case.

I have read a lot of posts on here that could be deemed as
detrimental to the responsible shooting community that we are.
However, I for one as well as the majority here are sensible
shooters who enjoy a bit of craic when shooting. We shouldn't
have to hide in the shadows for fear of upsetting individuals or
anti shooting organisations. We are who we are and we do what we
do. Hate cliches but why should we feel that we must cultivate a
culture of oppression amongst ourselves? Get out there and heat
your barrels up, even if it is shooting at the neighbours cat
(just kidding lol). The shooting community is small over here in
comparison to elsewhere in the world, and yes you will have a
contingent of halfwits just as every collective group has, but
our reputation is strong for the best part. As long as you're
not breaking the law, motor on. Life's too short to worry about
fu***rs who want to detract from your fun. Fu***rs was
deliberately blanked out so as not to cause offence to anyone
who may be easily offended. Oh the irony lol

Just got logged on this morn for first time in a while and was
shocked to see the first post!! Must say the forum is great and
have met some top fellas on it!!
Really surprised at the 'if it moves shoot it' idea! I've always
found everyone on here to be responsible shooters and have
always had safe shooting at the centre! A lot of new shooters
have also got lots of help on here and great advice!
If you don't enjoy the forum it's not the mod's fault or any
other member as you will only get anything out if it if you put
work into it!

Lmfao... Go fuck urself forester, I won't be told how to present
myself by anyone, as long as I stick to my FAOs conditions then
i will be fine. I am a very responsible shooter, I may use foul
language from time to time but that's for me to decide.. People
like yourself are to quick to judge.....don't judge a book by
its cover as the saying goes......it does not say on my FAC that
I must not use bad language or I must present myself to your
high standards...........if you don't like it then fuck off back
to one off the many sware free other forums you claim to use ::)
