Quick question, when adding additional shotgun, ie 20 gauge do
I need landowner to sign consent?

yes , but when renewing you only need to put in one land consent
form for all the shotties

Hmm was wandering this myself cos that's what I thought but one
of the boys in mccloys said you could just add another shotgun
without anymore consents. In other words just use it on the
permissions you already have.

got initial permission and have never had to get further consent
for different shotguns. When I got the written permission I
asked the farmer to write down - permission to use shotguns, air
rifle and rimfire rifles-. I have since had multiple 12, 20
gauge shotguns, aire rifle and a rimfire with out having to ask
the farmer for further permission. I think if you have it for
shotguns you can change the calibre with out having to get
further permission from farmer.

Well from horses mouth,, every time you apply for adding,,
include land consent form as they are now starting to return
applications if you have not done so,,more paperwork.....lol now
you all know!!!!!!!

Only time I didn't need land was when swapped a 22lr for an air
rifle. Did try to use "all types and calibres" before on the
land forms but was told it wasn't good enough ::)

Ok was reading through the forms there says you need a
permission to add a different type of firearm so i'm thinking
adding another shotgun wouldn't be a problem. Dunno i'll try en
an see and if you have yours away first millrace let us know how
it goes.

I have 2 shotguns on my license and just got another. I renewed
my license in September so when I move house I intend to send my
license away for change of address and re apply for y shotgun
that I done a 1 on one off with so I highly doubt I will need to
include another permission form? I didn't when I added a 2nd
